Cymbidium Ken Siew is a great Cymbidium — one of the new favorites in our collection. Compact, long-lasting flowers evoke the best of its two parents, Cymbidium tracyanum and Cymbidium erythaceum. While our beautiful, but very sizable, Cymbidium tracyanum were flowering outside, we carried this much smaller orchid into the house to enjoy for the month of December. The cultivar ‘Santa Barbara’ has been a vigorous grower; we repotted it in May, and it produced two flower spikes the subsequent autumn.
