Dendrobium lindleyi has a wide range, from India through SE Asia, at a range of elevations. The canes on this one are distinct: smooth, roundish, silver-white, and relatively large; I noticed it at the orchid show sale table because it looked rather unique compared to our others. My internet searching has only noted winter-spring blooming for this species, but perhaps there are geographic forms with a different timing.
